Welcome to the COSCU National Leadership Team page! Our National Leadership Team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of education within COSCU. Comprised of passionate and dedicated members, this team ensures cohesive and effective leadership across our organization.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

National President and Vice President

Provide strategic direction and guidance to COSCU’s national initiatives and programs. Represent COSCU at national and international forums, conferences, and events. Foster collaboration and partnerships with key stakeholders in the education sector. Lead advocacy efforts and initiatives to promote policies benefiting education.

Regional Chairperson or Co-Chairperson

Oversee and coordinate regional activities and initiatives for their respective categories (K12, Higher Education, Skill, and Vocational Education, Corporate). Facilitate networking opportunities and collaboration among regional members and stakeholders. Support the implementation of COSCU’s programs and projects at the regional level.

State President and Vice President

Lead state-level initiatives and projects aligned with COSCU’s vision and objectives. Represent COSCU in state-level education forums, discussions, and collaborations. Advocate for policies and programs that benefit education within their states.

City Coordinators

Coordinate local activities and events related to education and COSCU’s initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for members and stakeholders at the city level. Support the implementation of COSCU’s programs and projects at the local level.

Nomination Criteria and Membership Eligibility

  • Only COSCU IndividualInstitutional, and Corporate Members are eligible for National Leadership Team positions.
  • National President and Vice President positions are open to Superior Members who can self-nominate or be nominated by another Superior Category Member.
  • Regional Chairperson or Co-Chairperson positions are open to Superior and Premier Members who can self-nominate or be nominated by any other member from the same membership type.
  • State President and Vice President positions are open to Advanced, Premier, or Superior Members who can self-nominate or be nominated by any other member of the same membership type.
  • City Coordinators positions are open to members from Individual, Institutional, Corporate, or Non-Profit Categories who can self-nominate or nominate another member from similar categories.
